This policy explains what information RigKeep ("RigKeep," "we," "us") collects through rigkeep.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors to this website and to operators who submit the compliance check form.
Information we collect
When you submit the compliance check form, we collect what you enter: your name, company or operator name, operator number (if provided), email address, phone number, and any message you include. We do not require an account and do not collect payment information through this site.
Like most websites, our hosting and form handling providers automatically log standard technical data, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and reliability purposes.
How we use it
- To respond to your compliance check request and follow up by phone or email
- To look up your operator's public status with the applicable state regulator (for example, the Railroad Commission of Texas)
- To provide the filing and compliance services you engage us for
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Third party services we use
This site is built and hosted on Netlify, which processes form submissions on our behalf. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may log IP addresses as part of delivering the font files. We don't control how these providers handle data beyond what's needed to run this site. See their own privacy policies for details.
Data retention
We keep compliance check submissions and client records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our own recordkeeping obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing office@rigkeep.com. We'll honor that request except where we're required to keep records (for example, filings already submitted to a state regulator).
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
